This Concert was Held at The Sporthalle - an indoor arena in Hamburg dated 23rd February. Saw Mick and The Guys In That Same Tour of 1992 They Came To Tel Aviv in August 27th '92 . It Was Fantastic. Mick's Voice Is Unique.

The Doobie Brothers - Live at The Greek Theatre Dated 1982. That Was The Last Show Before The Band's Split. In Fact, it Was The End of an Era with McDonald. The Band Started A 2nd Round In 1987 and Still Around Today. I Keep Forgettin' - Michael Recorded The Song with His Sister Maureen For His "If That's What It Takes" LP, Released In August 1982.

This Version of Jackson Browne's Classic is taken from 'Allman & Woman' - Two The Hard Way LP dated 1977 ("SDS" in that case is a Gregg Solo). It was a co-operation between Gregg and Cher (then a married Couple having a common son - Elijah). In Addition, The Album Included a cover version of Smokey Robinson's Hit: "You've Really Got a Hold on Me".

I Keep Forgettin' the Doobie Brothers used to be a rock band from the San Jose/Santa Cruz Mountains area with two amazing vocalist/guitarist/writers who created music that made it on every road trip mixed tape from 1972 - 1975. Then came the Yacht Rock Era with Michael McDonald. Don't get me wrong, MM is a great vocalist, used in the right circumstances. His work with the Dan showed his talent well. With this band, he changed the Doobie Bros to the Brothers Dubois. He single handedly gutted this band. No, he neutered them.
I love this song and video. Love the 2 minute mark in the video where you see the pretty lady dancing and you can tell totally into his awesome voice. Great video!

You would never know it has the last two generations give him top billing but Mike McDonald was an addition about 10 years after the Doobie Brothers had established at least 12 to 13 major hits! Pat Simmons was the one who started the band in 1971. In about 2 years later Skunk Baxter came from steely Dan. McDonald was a studio recorder at the time that's why you hear him in the background of some of the Steely Dan songs.
